| We are offering High Speed Coaxial Cable Data Line Protector, CF-90 which is designed for 90V DC spark over voltage / 75 Ohms impedance cable with F type connector (Female to Male) for bandwidth of 0 - 1 GHz. A user should take normal precautions such as earthing coaxial cable sheaths at building points of entry. The salient features are as follows: • 90V DC / 75 Ohms impedance • F type connector (Female to Male) • Suitable for bandwidth of up to 1 GHz | |
 | Digital Transmission Interface Protector | | |
| We are offering to our clients, digital transmission interface protector which is designed to protect digital transmission systems operating at up to 2Mb/s or 3MHz. These are equipped with unbalanced 75 Ohm co-axial input and output accessed by industry standard female BNC connectors. The salient features are as follows: • The LPI-DIP offers transient clamping down to 15 volts, whilst maintaining peak operating signal voltages of ±5V • Traditional gas arrester technology is combined with fast acting semiconductors to provide a high degree of protection with negligible impact on transmission signals. • ISDN and digital base-band protection • Low insertion loss • Multi-stage protection technology and simple plug in operation Application These are designed for unbalanced lines at operational voltages of up to 10V peak. We can also provide models with characteristic impedance of 50 ohms or 75 ohms are available. It utilizes female BNC connectors for input and output terminations, an M3 earth stud is also provided on the unit. The in-built circuits put in use high quality gas arresters for high transient current handling capability. Moreover, the secondary stage of silicone based transient suppressors allows high speed clamping with only a small margin above maximum operating voltage. The secondary transient suppressors have been arranged to give very low line to screen and line to ground capacitance. Series impedance is included to coordinate the two stages. This impedance has been kept at a low value to minimize insertion loss. Low in-line impedance combined with the low capacitance arrangement of the transient protection has allowed LPI to provide a protector with minimal affect on signal transmission. These can be installed in the following manner: • Connect transmission cables to the input and output of the unit via BNC plugs • To ensure the correct operation of the unit, a suitable earth connection must be made between the 3mm brass earth stud and the frame earth, ensure this earth path is low resistance in accordance with local regulations. |
 | GSM 7-16 Protector | | |
| We are providing to our clients, GSM 7/16 quarter wave stub surge protector designed for GSM cellular frequencies from 890 - 960 MHz providing surge protection against transient over voltages due to direct, indirect lightning strikes and earth potential rise caused by lightning. The salient features are as follows: • High impulse rating • GSM application • Easy installation The installation process is done as follows: • Transient over voltages appearing between the inner conductor of the coaxial cable and its screen could directly damage receiver and line driver chips of communications equipment connected via coaxial cables. • It contains The LPI GSM 7/16 quarter wave stub surge protector contain fast response gas filled arrestors to provide low electrical voltage for fast rise time transients • The use of low capacitance gas filled arrestors ensures operation at high frequencies with low insertion loss. • Connect the protector in the RF line as close to the equipment to be protected as practical. The aim of these protectors is to provide electrical clamping between the inner and outer conductors of coaxial cables • The earth lead provided should be connected to the unit by mounting the lug under the connector mounting screw, the other end should be terminated at the nearest convenient earthing point, using the shortest possible route • These models are specifically designed for mounting at cable entry points • The bulkhead mount allows a secured earth connection to the cable entry plate and provides a convenient cable termination point. This is the preferred method of installation Normal precautions such as earthing coaxial cable sheaths at building points of entry are still vitally important. | |
 | Coaxial Surge Protector - RF Ranges | | |
| We are supplying to our clients, coaxial surge protectors which are widely used in various industries like Defense, Telecom, Railways, Space Research Organization, and Heavy engineering industry. Note that this wire should take the most direct route so that it is as short as possible. • Tighten the mounting screw of the D3 unit to secure it to the DIN rail. The fixing of the mounting screw provides the necessary earth connection for the unit. • Note that single point earthing provides better protection and will permit the D3 protector to be located a distance from the equipment. |
 | Telephone Pair Protector : TLP- K10 | | |
| We are providing to our clients with Telephone Pair Protector TLP- K10 which is a multistage protection module designed for the protection of analogue telephone and data circuits against transient over-voltages caused by lightning, induced impulses and other voltage surges. These contain ten line protection circuits on a single PCB and each circuit consists of a primary three terminal gas filled arrester followed by a secondary transient clamping circuit. The salient features are as follows: • High impulse rating • Wide operating frequency / Low insertion and return loss • Easy installation • The in built arrester has a fast impulse response compatible with the requirements of advanced high speed data networks • The secondary transient clamping circuit comprises a series resistor in each leg plus shunt connected silicon transient protection devices • The effect of this series impedance is to provide decoupling between the primary and secondary protection elements during fast rise time impulses associated with lightning type transient events • The effect is that fast rise time events, with high dV/dt, are diverted to the primary gas filled arrester rather than passed through to the equipment. • Following the series impedance, silicon transient protection devices provide transverse mode fine protection. • Earthed through two spring clips, which connect to the Krone LSA frame to provide excellent electrical contact with the frame Application Used to protect at the: • MDF • Public Exchange (PSTN) • PBX • Key Telephone Systems (KTS) • Pay phones • Security systems • Fire alarms • Data distribution systems • Remote instrumentation • Radio transmitters The installation process is as follows: • The LPI TLP-K10 must be installed into disconnect blocks to allow the series impedance elements to be inserted in circuit. • To install the LPI-TLP-K10 plug into a Krone LSA disconnect block • Ensure that the module is plugged in as per the diagram on the previous page • Make sure that the LPI TLP-K10 is plugged fully into the KRONE* block • The edge of the plastic cover should be level with the front of the KRONE* block when the module is fully inserted • The earth connection for the LPI TLP-K10 is derived from the spring clips on each end of the board which engage with the KRONE frame upon insertion of the module. The LPI-TLP-K10 may be fitted to the KRONE blocks in either a standard or PROFIL* type frame • It is absolutely essential that the frame is earthed in accordance with ACA TS009 • The frame must connect to the stations protective earth. • If a PROFIL* frame is used, it is important that earthing clips are fitted to each disconnect block before it is attached to the frame • These are the KRONE supplied clips which fit into the ends of the disconnect block, and then engage with the bars on the PROFIL frame when the block is fitted into the frame. | |
